Wound up in Wexford

Daffs showing willing

Fair weather for a change, though it started to rain again by about 4.30, and as I write this on Saturday morning, it's very wet again.  We are promised a couple of dry days early next week, but after that it looks like more rain.

We expected wet weather when we moved to Ireland, but we've settled in "the sunny south east".  Chatting to locals, it has been unusually wet in the early part of this year.

Our landscapers came, brought hardcore, with which they are building a little hillock to act as a base for an upper pond, from which a rill will run down to the main pond.

The daffodils that we planted in the autumn, defended from Husky by the fences, are looking quite promising.  And we have lots of allium sprouting in the pond beds.
