Acrobatics

JJ has taken Liam to golf and they were going to have a light lunch in the clubhouse before going out on the course again.  Not all the holes are open after the recent rain but they’ll find enough to keep themselves entertained.

I had a short walk through the orchard and around the back of the pond before stopping off to talk to Al, who was washing down his very muddy Labrador.  The dog was out for a run with a group of runners when they came across a shooting party and he wouldn’t go any further, and Al had to drive over to fetch him.  He’s one of several local dogs that don’t like loud noises, particularly the bird scarers that farmers use.

Back home I dealt with the linen I’d taken off the bed in bedroom 2 and remade it, read the paper, got out the suitcases for a forthcoming holiday, put some summer clothes out for inspection, and done a bit of sewing.

The kites were around this morning but I quite liked the acrobatics of these two buzzards in silhouette.

Ps. Liam’s light lunch was a curry.  He’s a growing lad,
