Snapshots of my world

Kirkstone Pass!

A brighter weather day up so it seemed rude not to be up and out early for another day of walking in the beautiful landscapes The Lakes have to offer.

We enjoyed a walk from Patterdale to Watermillock along the shoreline of Ullswater which is sure full of water. It was lovely to see clearer views of the mountains and see some shimmers of sun on the water. We then retraced our steps back to Ottie before driving up and over the Kirkstone Pass. One to do on the bikes without a doubt. Spectacular!

It was then a drive home and back to Mum and Dad's from Sunday tea because why not. :-) A lovely few days away and a whole new experience with Matthew. He didn't run for the hills either, and nor did I, so I'm taking that as a positive. :-P

A wonderfully varied half term from cycling to Bridlington, and back, with Mum, enjoying days out in Leeds and Harrogate, and of course my Lake District trip. :-)
