The Return Journey

All good things come to an end. and today we had to leave Lake Como and head for the not so warm climate in the North. The journey went well with a brief stop over at Amsterdam Schipol Airport.

Fortunately the Schipol Airport transfer just allowed time for a quick snack in the lounge. A herring roll in my case, a luxury of any visit to Holland whenever time permits. Not much of the herring is visible in this picture as it is covered by chopped onion.

There was at least one young man on the flight to Aberdeen who may have had several Heinekens too many. Happily after a fairly noisy trip to the aircraft he slept through the flight.

The journey into Aberdeen city centre was greatly assisted by being in a taxi which is able to take advantage of the bus lane. Somewhat cooler here than the temperature to which I may have become accustomed.
