Hillier's Gardens

This morning, we headed off to Hilliers Gardens, near Romsey, my favourite local garden, for a treat. Although the sun hardly shone, at least it was dry, and not too cold. The winter garden was still looking stunning with the colourful dogwood and Prunus stems, and Narcissus and Erica flowers, and heavily scented from the flowering Daphnes, Hamamelis, and Edgeworthia chrysantha (see second extra).
Elsewhere, there were plenty of  Camellias (see first extra) and even some early Magnolia  flowers.
