Best part of the day

This picture only represents a tiny part of rhe day. From waking up till late afternoon it was absolutely torrential, the stream in the left of this blip is actually a path.

We whiled away the day with a lazy start, a l-o-n-g breakfast and then some sitting by the fire playing around on the computer. Mrs IttH did some studying and I even got two chapters of writing finished, just two left now.

But late afternoon, just as forecast, the rain finally stopped and the sky turned blue.... So out we set for a short but restorative walk. Ankle and especially achilles is still very tender for no apparent reason, but beer takes the mind off that.
