A day in the life

The Pond

My walks around where I live are a little bit limited at the moment,  since the damp weather makes it impossible or unpleasant  to use the paths around  the fields because of the water and mud. Since I was throwing stuff away at the recycling, I thought I'd do one of my earlier walks where I used to live three years ago, to see some new views. The light drizzle  decided  to take on a more substantial rain-shape so my walk was limited to only going around The Pond, where I've been so many times in the past. The water level is unusually high because of all the rain and snow we've had during the winter season and there's still some ice left, even though we are in late of February.
