Cherry blossom

We have been looking back at some photographs from 2013, and noticed that the cherry blossom that year was in full flower in the middle of April.  In each subsequent year it has appeared earlier and earlier.  I remember being shocked when I noticed it starting to emerge on 1st March one year.  This year it is in full bloom already - third week of February.  How long before it is bloomng for Christmas?
