In the garden

These are all flowering in our front garden right now. There are some in the back, but it's too squelchy to walk round the garden - very wet indeed, even though the sun's shining.

Today is my mother's birthday - she would have been 104. I think it's as well she cannot see what a mess our country is in today. Her generation lost six years of their lives, and many lost their lives, to fight for freedom. All that has gone. There's no free speech today.  Don't like to think what that generation would have made of it all.

This afternoon Mrs B visited with one of the next generation - the young master, before she had to leave to pick up little Miss B from school. After their first week back after half term, I bet children and teachers alike will be ready for the weekend.

Have a good one, blipmates!
