Floods at Atcham

We have friends who live at Sutton Coldfield and a couple of times a year we meet up half way for a meal and a catch up.

We’re never short of conversation and lovely to hear each other’s news. The meal was lovely and I succumbed to apple and blackberry crumble and custard for pudding.

After all the rain, the fields were awash with rain pools but the main roads were all open. On the way back we stopped at Atcham where the River Severn had burst it’s banks. A few months ago we stood in the pub garden near the flower frame but now it’s all underwater.
