Picking the winter cabbages from the greenhouse. I was surprised to find a few carrots too. And then a ray of sunlight shone in through the glass. So much greenhouse fun to look forward to.

I'm amazed at how much cleaning my boy's room needs. Today I managed about a third of it before I stopped. Four years is a lot of dust. I am having to wash the walls! Still, it's absolutely worth it.

I made a brave decision this week to paint our sitting room what is essentially pink and blue/black, although Farrow and Ball have much better descriptions. I should know to trust my gut, I LOVE it!
