Return of the lost

I lost this scarf , one day last week , whilst out and about with my son. I called a few places but no one had it until yesterday The Malthouse Emporium in Tewkesbury called to say that they had found it. So a cross country trip because Eckington Bridge is closed to retrieve it. But hooray!

Home to sort out the parish magazines for delivery and start packing for a holiday on Tuesday.

This afternoon we had visiting bell ringers. A ‘paralysed from the waist down’ chap was carried piggyback style up and his chair/wheels hoisted on a rope, so he could ring. The bell platform is 72ft high and described as one of the most hair raising locations https://photoreflect.blogspot.com/2012/06/ringing-chambers-platforms-and-floors.html?m=1
And then of course at the end the whole procedure was repeated in reverse. From photos and videos I’ve seen the gentleman looked very happy and comfortable ringing.

Now watching Scotland England slightly nervously before going out for dinner with friends!
