litl hikes

By litl

Cold, damp and dull to start the day. It improved a little.

There were a few things I wanted to look at in Windermere (Lakeland for those who are familiar with the store). While I was there I popped up Orrest Head. Alfred Wainwright said that from the top there was ‘a truly magnificent view’. He must have been up in better weather :)

Up via all the zigzags and down by a more direct route. There’s now a hot and cold drinks kiosk around the half way point just above the blacksmiths.

The usual dilemma over what to post when I have people shots. Taking a chance this time . . . . . I prefer posting back or distant shots.
