Naturally Mono

Lovely long walk this morning (exercising the excesses of last night away) resulting in many photos and causing a blip dilemma, but I liked the simplicity of this, on the camera screen at the time I was wishing they'd swim in the other direction so the light would be the other way round but downloaded it was a different story.

Last night we had German pub quiz night...we managed to win a prize despite getting a ridiculously low score - the prize was for the first line of incorrect answers, still a prize though innit?!
We should have realised how tricky it was going to be when the first round was all about German advertising slogans - there are very few expats who watch German TV and probably even fewer who pay attention to the ads! Then there were five questions about body parts - should have been easy, except we were given sayings where the missing word was the body part, if it had been in English we'd have had something like "by the skin of my ..." and need to write "teeth" as the answer. But these were all German sayings so that was another five incorrect answers or was it four...
