Going for a Dip

We spent an enjoyable hour or so orienteering on Loxley Common north of Sheffield.  It was a contrast to the muddy, soggy, slippery, brambly wood that we ran in last Sunday for the CompassSport Cup heat.  Today we were in the sunshine, running through generally clear woodland and atop the moor with grand views.

We were home reasonably early too so we had cuppas, baths and then I cracked on with the Sunday roast, with Yorkshire Puddings of course.  It was still light enough and warm enough to open the top of the kitchen door in the hope of catching bathing birdies, but they suddenly all disappeared, so just this lone female blackbird having a think and a drink.
