This gorgeous watercolour was painted by Margaret, the previous owner of our house.  (Sadly, the view is not of our house.)

We moved here 37 years ago and she moved here with her parents when she was just 21, living here for 40 years.  We are only the third owners of the property since it was built just before the war (WW2).  When we moved in, we were positive youngsters in our twenties and now we’re the “old” ones!

Margaret only moved further round the village and we still keep in touch with her.

Oh, and for the record…it’s STILL raining!
