Sunday: For the Pollinators

Outdoor temperature at 7:30 this morning was 1°C … brrrrrr …

Tomato seeds which have germinated to date: Gardeners Delight, Raspberry Oxheart, both types of Tumbling Tom, Ruby Falls, Maskotka, no sign of any of the chillies or the Italian tomatoes, yet!

Today’s Blip is of the white flowers of Jersey Walking Stick kale which has been flowering for many years and is for the overwintering pollinators. From the kitchen, I saw an insect near the flowers but it had gone by the time I got into the garden … maybe next time!

This afternoon we watched the third game of this weekend’s Six Nations, France 13 v 13 Italy, so proud of the Italian side “meravigliosa italia”! :-)

This evening MrD was reading whilst I watched “The Love Punch” on Netflix, pure escapism and lots of laughs.

Love and hugs to all my family XXXX XXX XX

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
