The first of many?

This wee primrose plant is battling against the odds to produce its pretty blooms. The first flower to appear got a soaking; the second is struggling to open up because it’s in a shady corner and the nights have been so cold. However, there are signs of many more buds on the way so I’m hopeful that it will eventually succeed.
