It is that time of year when academics go off all over the world to various conferences. This is one that is being held in Bangalore at the Indian Institute of Management. The campus and facilities are a little oasis of calm in betwixt the chaos of central Bangalore. It is a time to meet up with friends and colleagues from all over the world, where East meets West and the North meets the Southern Hemispheres. It is a fascinating mix of cultures and sharing of ideas and experiences.
