Carlos Acosta. On Before

Just waiting for the show to start! QR code to access the programme so no fee! The soundtrack is of lashing rain and thunder and the lights slide down the curtain representing the rain! Looking forward to a fabulous show. The last section is dancing to O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen which the Plymouth philharmonic choir have performed and Sian had input into the singers for tonight’s show who will be on stage with the dancers!

Update later!

Well the show was a tour de force and if you get a chance to see it, jump at it! Carlos Acosta was phenomenal and showed off all the movement anybody could achieve and when dancing with Laura Rodrigues, each of them showed amazing flexibility and trust in each other. I had a restricted view seat but it was close to the stage so I could see the power and strength necessary to achieve he movement. The singers were on stage walking between pieces and during pieces but not singing till the last section. They were conducted from the side of the stage but they could see it on a couple of screens fixed onto the front of the dress circle and from my seat I could watch both. It was all mesmerising!
