Kōwhai Tree

We went on a short walk in the afternoon, out into the fields which are sort of coopted into a park with a lone bin, bench and basketball hoop. Came back through the "shrub tunnel" along the allotments, and the alleys. Saw this acacia-like tree over someone's garden wall.
