The Attenborough Building

The university tour continues. Leicester this time and, as the title suggests, the building before you is the Attenborough Building. Named not after the illustrious Richard and David but their father Frederick who was principal of the then University College for many years and who brought up his family on campus. It was opened in 1970 by youngest son John. Eating alfresco with the sun shining, Leicester Uni is very pleasant indeed. You can probably tell that this is really just a hasty snap shot. As this challenge has progressed I've often been torn between just marking the day and creating a fine image. Today I chose the former but for a taste of the latter look (here).
