Decaying Gairdens

A fairly sunny morning, rain after lunch, a dry evening.  A strong gale blowing all day and night.

Up early, walkies after breakfast.  Popped along friends for a cuppa.  Picked up niece Elise after lunch, took her to her work.  Walkies rained off for a bit, but we got out again.  Nipped along Laura's in the afternoon, mam and Jonny were in too.  Nipped into Lerwick this evening, needing errands from the supermarket.  More walkies, and now an early night.

While heading out west for a run, the rain started, so I decided to abort the mission, but stopped off for a quick brisk walk.  We headed into the woods, and the old gardens at the old post office.  There are various photos of this once grand garden, it really was spectacular and well kept.  Sadly over the past 10-15 years, it's been forgotten and left to decay, or turn to a natural state? When I win the lottery, this will be a must buy for me, I'd love to get the old house and garden restored to it's former glory.  Taken at the old Post Office and shop, Tresta.
