New Challenge – Secret Edinburgh (2)

Another Item from Secret Edinburgh though this one is not so secret being visible to all who walk along Rose St at the West End. The old BT Exchange on the North side of the pedestrianised street between S Charlotte St and Castle street has had the windows filled cut metal screens with a words and visuals from a poem (see extra) by George MacKay Brown’s, ‘Beachcomber’. It is a remarkable design and manufacture illustrating all seven days that the poem describes.
