Snow.

This is Bassenthwaite Lake, Blackstock Point.  This tree has been surrounded by water as the lake was higher than usual.  A beautiful, bright, calm and chilly morning.  The sleet that fell at home last night fell as snow on the Fells.  In the distance is Binsey with sunlight  As the day progressed cloud crept in and now it is raining.  However, spring is in the air as chaffinches sang as they darted in and out of the tree.
