River of Flowers

Sunday: #WorldWildlifeDay

My Blip from exactly a year ago - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3078466226368810066 - still agree 100% with what I said back then! Hoping that this convinced my visitors to give it a try and enjoy the benefits of “lazy gardening” also known as “gardening for wildlife” :-))

The top row in today’s Blip are the same plants as last year and on the lower row are Calendula in tight bud (which have continued growing since last Spring), Pink and White Comfrey, with a yellow Cowslip or Oxslip on the end.

Gave the Hart’s Tongue Fern a trim this morning for the same reason as last year, the patch of Wild Garlic has grown very large now and will look amazing when the flowers appear next month.

Pottered around the garden and in the greenhouse, which is unbelievably warm :-)

It was very chilly all day, around 7°C - early morning it felt uncomfortably cold, we saw some blue sky … MrD even went for a walk this afternoon and arrived home just before a very heavy shower of rain :-((

Temperature forecast to fall close to zero again tonight so I’ve put the blanket over my precious seedlings.

It looks like we’re watching “Outlander” this evening …
ADDED LATER: we also watched “Johnny English Strikes Again” with Emma Thompson - very funny!!

Love and hugs to all my family XXXX XXX XX

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
