Anemones

I hoped to do some more gardening today but the conditions were not as pleasant as yesterday, with wind in the morning, and  rain in the afternoon and evening.
So, some domestic chores were done, instead. However, I did start researching plants to go in our south facing "hot border" ( I fancy trying Bearded Iris )and the  two smaller, more shaded, beds facing the house. They are, in effect, raised beds because the  garden slopes steeply  upwards from  the house, and well suited to low -growing  plants . They already have geraniums, snowdrops and these lovely purple Anemone blanda.
