The Daffodils Have To Be Moved

I have made a serious to gardening work in The Policies.

Our extremely large fern is starting to show signs of activity, and so I spent two hours cutting the previous years growth. Not a moment too soon as the new fronds are just to about to appear.

Our fallen oak tree is also shading some daffodils and snowdrops. Moving snowdrops ‘in the green’ is straight forward, but I fear that I will have to move the daffodils while still in bloom.

The tree is likely to be moved in the next couple of weeks.
