It Seemed Like a Good Idea

Yet another wet morning, but, as the wind had dropped, I thought this afternoon would be an ideal time to capture the blackthorn blossom at the end of the garden. Up close, the flowers on the more sheltered side were past their best, while the much better ones were gently swaying in a breeze which wasn't noticeable until I tried to focus on them. Oh well, I tried, but not for too long, patience having evaporated today!
