AND . . . LIFT

Welcome to Day One of the World Carriage Lifting Contest, hosted this year by the NYMR. A small, but fervent, crowd of supporters waved and cheered as the old canteen coach was lifted off the bogies . . . and the lift lasted well over an hour . . . a new record for a coach in green and white livery. Whoopppeee . . . cream slice and a coffee to celebrate afterwards.
