St Ives mansion fire

So desperately sad but the Mansion at St Ives is on fire. Currently a significant amount of West Yorkshire’s brave fire fighters there. To be honest not a surprise to any locals, a beautiful building sold by Bradford Council before it went to auction for an undisclosed amount I believe. Not been touched since and was slowly being allowed to fall into disrepair, despite being grade 2 listed.

I know I didn’t take my photo today, but it was taken at the mansion when it was a hotel at my aunt and uncles wedding reception in 1966. I’m the little one in the photo.
