Busy weekend day. Started with a sleep in. Good, but bad as we were then running late ... Then Mrs PS took the kids to soccer while I went to work for several hours.

Then both grumpy parents converged home, in time to take the kids up into the Port Hills to go tree planting, as we do occasionally with our environmental group.

To be honest, it was the last thing I wanted to do. Tired, grumpy, lots to do ... but 60 or so holes later much of that stress had gone, and we had a lovely day, high above the cloud in fine and mostly sunny/relatively warm conditions. And we planted 320 trees.

The kids all had a great time, although the parents did all (most) of the work!

Adam however was very keen, part play, part planting, Super effort!
