Sounds like a comedy duo...

Removing a radiator is always likely to be a barrel of laughs.  Thankfully, the fittings on M&C's rads are relatively new and did what they were supposed to do - though this isn't the original TRV.  They have fancy computer'y ones and no-one was going to trust them to stay at 'closed'.  

Capping nut because I don't, for 'flooded kitchen' reasons, trust vanilla TRVs either.
