I'm not a real 'cat person' but for this one, I'll make an exception. His name is Marmalade, he is 18 years old, and he belongs to my elderly friend Ann, who lives alone. Marmaduke has become very thin and is eating very little. Ann says she doesn't think he'll live very long. I'm afraid she's right. But he's being well looked after, and was enjoying a siesta on the bed when I visited this afternoon.
