A Little Yellow Bird

There was a small flock (about six) of these little yellow birds in our garden this morning…Google Lens identified them as Siskins (I stand to be corrected of course)….I don’t recall seeing them here before. They are rather striking.

Apologies for the poor quality photo - it was quite gloomy, so bumped the ISO a bit and then had to crop a lot!! I only had the Tamron 28-300 lens stuck on the camera rather than the big Canon 75-300 (trying to cut down on the weight I take out and I hadn’t changed it after getting home)…
