Puncture

For a change, the puncture was not in one of my car's tyres, but in the front nearside tyre of this bus.  That's quite an object to pick up.

The guy replacing the wheel came in a small van, with a spare wheel in the back.  Jacking up the bus, which was parked close to the kerb, was quite an exercise.  He was using a bottle jack which was too tall to get under the bus, so he had to get the driver to drive the bus up on to the wooden ramp you can see.  It was a very short ramp, and the bus could easily have driven over the end, but the driver managed to position it perfectly.  That left sufficient height to get the jack underneath and lift the front of the bus to remove the wheel.

It provided some entertainment for passing pedestrians.
