The cat’s whiskers

Or cats paw. It not very often that I blip an animal but could any blipper pass by an opportunity like this where a cat was sat so matter of fact in a tree. It’s as if this is what it does every day! So, you have it, a cat in a tree.

It’s been a busy day. The sun shone today, albeit accompanied by a strong easterly breeze as we were out walking to buy supplies and see if we could spot any cats in trees.

This afternoon was occupied in preparing for friends coming around for dinner. They brought some exciting, life changing news which explains why we’ve not heard from them for a while.

Sue, who has been on dialysis for a couple of years and it turns out was in intensive care only a month ago owing to complications recovered sufficiently to be offered a kidney transplant a couple of weeks ago. What marvellous news indeed.

It was, as you might expect, a most wonderful of evenings.
