Mother’s Day flowers

Miss PHL stayed over last night as she had an early appointment with the practise nurse and she’d have struggled to make it out to the surgery from her flat during rush hour. She brought me a lovely bouquet which when I sorted them this morning, weren’t the best quality. I’m irritated at the shop she bought them from as they have no doubt ramped up the prices just for this weekend. It was a lovely thought and I hope I’ve rescued them by stripping off all the dodgy bits.

Poor Phin was up in the night and after trying to settle him a couple of times, I ended up throwing on my trainers and a coat and taking him out for a walk at 5.30. I decided to sleep on the sofa with him but it took a long time for him to settle so I’m a little jaded today.

After he slept for a few hours, Mr PHL took him out to the park (no incidents thankfully) and I got the spare room sorted and organised for our son and his wife popping down this afternoon to stay over. Hoovered the house and had a bite of lunch before going through the TinyTuesday entries.
