Climbing the walls

Today we had to take Girl to the hospital for a check up. She was getting scanned and so needed to be full of water. Annoyingly on the way she decided she just had to go and so we had to stop.

This meant she was unscannable so we missed our slot and had to drink more water whilst we waited for her to be more full. I do like the NHS a lot, but I do get annoyed with being talked about and not talked to so as the clock ticked I got quite fed up with waiting as the staff whispered and decided to send others before us (I wouldn't have minded, but it would have been nice to have been spoken to). My annoyance soon led to Wife being annoyed with me.

Thankfully for us Girl calmed the annoyance and stole back the attention by drinking so much water that she filled to the brim and then must have leant forward a little starting a cascade of water to project from her throat all over the toilet in the room. Amazingly she still had enough in her to get scanned, get the ok, and then get out of there as the mopping started.

On the way home we headed to Port Solent for dinner in the sun and a play in the park which brightened up the day.
