Grumpy Landowner?

This is my oil painting from art class. The task was a character study with dramatic lighting, hence the inclusion of more than just a face. I had to rush, but managed to finish in one day, which was pretty good for me.

The only part I would change might be the grey side of the face, which reads more like a mutton chop sideburn than a stubbly cheek.
