Pool Power

Post meeting pint and de-brief after 4 us from the town pool action group had a very successful meeting with 2 Labour Party Southwell Town Councillors.

The pool is very controversial - In the last week or so a district council cabinet member has resigned from being a pool trustee, and following the last town council meeting, the chair has stepped down. 

Really good to spend 3 hours F2F with my 3 fellow musketeers, who I'd only really physically met in passing previously. Similarly re the town councillors.

Rugby 

Old Nottinghamians I  28 - 24 Southwell II

Hosted at Ashfield Rugby Club, the lead changed twice in the last 3 minutes of the game. Our son played really well and scored a good try, which I thought had won us the match. An entertaining watch, as was England vs Ireland.
