Botanical Bonanza

Despite all the doom and gloom regarding the ill effects of climate change in the UK over the last 2 years there are a few winners. In my hay meadow this year I have counted 25 large, healthy Common Spotted Orchid flower spikes. The previous highest count since I began observing in1997 was 5!
