Another one bites the dust.. and another one

An Icy wind and I wasn't feeling full of energy so we.went to Abbey House for  a 'sheltered ' walk.. 
They are still cutting down trees . Some may have been diseased  as the centre looks brown but not all of the trees . Many of the stumps are unblemished. Another large patch of laurel has been removed and they had looked very healthy. 

It will look better once some undergrowth grows and the leaves are on the trees. 

 At least it was nice and quiet for Fletch to mooch about off the lead. 

We meandered round the grounds and aimed for the gazebo garden seat but they've laid it on its back again  as they don't want it to blow down although  it wasn't that windy. 
Some of the blossom was out . I did try to.take a photo with the phone but  the breeze made it hard  for a decent shot

So far the temporary filling is intact but I've stuck to soft food and eating on one side of my mouth.
