Splash

Late out and just a bit of light left over to the horizon. As it was windy and blowing in on to shore I decided to try and capture some splashes on the rocks.

However, the light levels were low and to freeze the action I needed a wide aperture. So I decided to take two shots, one for the splash and a second with more depth of field for the rocks.

I combined them in Photoshop by brushing in the sharper rocks with a mask. Reasonably successful I think.
