The Gang

S and I had a chat about our May holiday this morning. We were thinking about Northern Spain, flying first to Biarritz and then making our way to San Sebastián and further but for some reason we changed all that and are now flying to Venice then making our way to Ljubljana, Lake Bled and then more but not got to that part yet.

We have only booked a one way so far as not sure where we will fly back from. Slovenia is quite difficult to fly from it’s only Gatwick that has direct flights from UK. Busses run from Italy and we are thinking of going from Venice to Treviso and then the bus to Ljubljana.

Then we were off to Edinburgh to meet up with the gang for a meal.

We went to Makar Mash and everyone enjoyed their food. I just had a starter size mash, haggis and neeps as I wanted apple and blueberry crumble after and it was perfect size.

It was good to see Cameron. He got his results of his maths test and got 47 out of 50 . He’s got his accommodation sorted for next term and that’s a relief. His birthday is 25 march and has said he won’t be home for it - oh well maybe I wouldn’t have come home at that age either!

It was dam cold in Edinburgh. We walked back to the tram and got home around 6:15. It was a busy day which was good. Exhausted by 9 so had an early night.
