Some wear it well
Some get into the groove of it
Some think it hell

Some are worn down by it
Some find it tough
Some are simply torn by it
Old age! They hate that stuff

Some know how to thrive in it
Some positively glow
Some are so alive in it
‘I’m 93 you know.’

Some get rusted up by it
Become wreckage on its beach
Some have lost their trust in it
And see the sea as out of reach
