Night Ride on a Gondola

Venice, Italy...in a gondola making its way across the middle of the Grand Canal, with the Rialto Bridge in the distance. This shot is an impossible shot to get...the boat is rocking, there is no light, and my lens doesn't have image stabilization. But here it is.

I think God allowed me to have this shot because He knew that they weren't going to let me photograph "David" in Florence, or the Sistine Chapel ceiling in the Vatican.
