Emerging Tulip gets Early Shower

A busy day with little opportunity for photography... 

The morning was taken up with an on-site liaison meeting with the local quarry, interfacing between a large and often noisy industry and perhaps not so large but equally noisy residents. Then, a brief pause to examine an estimate for some civil works at home before setting up for tonight's parish council meeting. 

I took the camera into the back garden in the off chance Janet was scaring something with her trowel in an interesting way, but no... all I got was this tulip, gingerly stepping out into 2024 and realising it should have brought a brolly...
