Spring is starting to show

Little daffodils showing in my garden as the snowdrops fade.

Online appointment with Prof Griffin today about C's hip, brought forward from Friday. He was very pleasant and Carys felt at ease talking to him. In a nutshell, he says that Mr Hutt's findings are fine but the conclusion he has come to is different (thank God!). He wasn't to meet C face to face, elicit her pains in a gym, sedate her, take her to theatre inject her with local anaesthetic and move her hip to the positions that cause the pain and examine what's happening in the joint by X-ray. The wake her up, back to the gym to see if the local anaesthetic gives any relief in the same positions when she is awake. He will then decide what to do. It may be an arthroscopy but it is unlikely to be a PAO which is a huge operation particularly on a healthy 16 year old dancer. Fingers crossed for a date as soon as possible.
