More Daffs

Spent a long time at FiL's today, talking about the vascular dementia diagnosis he was given yesterday when I took him to memory clinic. He still isn't really doing any of the things he should be doing to help himself. I think the horse has bolted now. Keeping hydrated, walking daily and using a checklist for ADL are things we have been pushing for months to no avail. He knew best and would do his own thing, now it's coming home to roost but it's still us picking up the pieces. Problem is now is he not doing stuff because he doesn't want to/knows best or because he has forgotten to do it  simplified view, I know but...
